PLASTIC
Plastics
Calcite (Calcium Carbonate)
It is indispensable minerals for manufacturing PVC, PP compounds and thermosets. We export Calcite mineral which is a natural form of Calcium Carbonate widely used in plastics as a filler due to its high dispensability, low oil absorption, high impact resistance, smooth surface finish, easy processing and excellent dimensional stability. It is also useful as thickening and gloss-producing minerals in unsaturated polyesters.
Mica
Our wet ground mica is known for its dimensional stability, low water absorption, increased stiffness and improved heat distortion temperature of plastic composites used in automotive applications. It improves the physical properties of polypropylene, polyethylene, PBT, PET, PPO and nylon composites. Our mica grades are rightly called effective reinforcing additives and used as filler. The mica reinforced polypropylene composites are meeting the growing demand of larger, thinner and stronger parts with reduced weight and better surface appearance.
Talc
Both the Coated and Uncoated grades are used as reinforcing filler. Talc is being increasingly used in HDPE, PP, LDPE, PVC, ABS & thermosetting compounds. It provides the smooth feel to plastic surface. Due to its chemical inertness, superior electrical and thermal resistance and other properties talc imparts stiffness, hardness, tensile strength of plastic products, improves quality of their surfaces, gives them electrical, chemical and thermal resistance.
Barite
In plastic industry, it is used as the filling of plastic ABS (Acrylonitrile - Butadiene - Styrene) to make the products with bright color. It improves the intensity, stiffness and abrasive resistance.
China Clay (Kaolin)
It is used as filler in combination with others to impart strength & smoothness in plastic Industry for PE master batch; PE cables; PE film; PVC cables; PVC extrusions; PVC plastisols; PP moldings; polyamide moldings; PBT/PET moldings; unsaturated polyester; urea formaldehyde; phenol formaldehyde.
Feldspar
Feldspar is a naturally occurring Potassium Aluminum Silicate rock occurring in pegmatite bodies. Feldspar is used as a flux in plastic industries.
